Going green

Celebrating a century of Weleda

Pioneering health and beauty brand Weleda, a WDDTY  favorite, is celebrating 100 years of growing plants organically and creating natural health and wellbeing products for the whole family.

To mark the major milestone, Weleda has launched ‘100 Places in Nature,’ a project to inspire more people to get outdoors and connect with nature, following research showing that a third of Britons say going for walks helps them cope with lockdown restrictions, and 28 percent find the great outdoors relieves the stress of the pandemic. (Find out more at www.weleda.co.uk or search for #100PlacesInNature.)

The brand has also relaunched their bestselling Skin Food Body Butter with new eco-friendly packaging. The moisturizing body butter, which is 100 percent natural and fantastic for dry skin, now comes in a beautiful green glass jar that can be recycled and reused (new packaging currently only available in the UK).

Not a dry eye

Peep Club

The Ultimate “Screen Saviour” Kit, £75.00 (about $105)

www.peepclub.com

If you’re suffering from dry, tired eyes from long hours spent in front of a screen, this innovative kit from eye care company Peep Club could be the answer. It includes the brand’s hero product, a rechargeable Eye Wand that uses heat, vibration and LED light technology to combat blockages of the tiny oil glands that line the upper and lower eyelids—a leading cause of dry eye symptoms. It’s also said to promote collagen and elastin production to help plump and firm the eye area. The wand comes with a 100 percent natural and organic Soothing Coconut Eye Balm to nourish and protect the entire eye area and to help the wand glide smoothly over the eyelids.
