Support groups for people damaged by a vaccine are being shut down and censored by social media platforms.
UK CV Family, which helps people who have suffered longterm injury from the AstraZeneca Covid jab, says that Facebook has blocked comments, even though it is a private group.
The group’s co-founder Charlet Crichton said, “We very quickly learned that we had to self-censor otherwise we’d be shut down.” Her own comments have been blocked by Facebook, which explained it had done so to “prevent misuse”.
The group was set up in 2021 by Charlet after she suffered an adverse reaction to the vaccine and has now attracted more than a thousand members who were also harmed by the vaccine or are bereaved relatives of the vaccine’s victims.
Another group, UsForThem, which has questioned the official narrative about the response to the virus, has also suffered restrictions. Molly Kingsley, the group’s co-founder, described the social media’s restrictions as ‘Orwellian’ after her content was criticised by YouTube.
