A quarter of Americans say they know someone who died from reactions to one of the Covid-19 vaccines.
Another 7 percent say they aren’t sure if the vaccine was responsible for the death of a family member, friend or colleague.
Polling group Rasmussen Reports surveyed 1110 Americans about Covid and vaccines, and 42 percent also said it was likely or highly likely they would be prepared to get involved in a class action suit against a pharmaceutical company over vaccine deaths and harms if it was permitted in law. Under current legislation, vaccine manufacturers are protected from legal claims of death and injury.
In addition, 47 percent of the survey knew someone who had died from Covid infection.
If the survey results are a fair reflection of the experience of the overall US population and were extrapolated across all citizens who were vaccinated, they suggest that around 500,000 people in the US died after having had a Covid vaccine.
