Covid vaccines probably killed more children than it saved—and the deaths were unnecessary because the young were never at risk from the virus, one of America’s leading health officials has admitted.
In a memo leaked to the press, the official said that at least 10 children died as a direct response to the Covid vaccine after they developed myocarditis, anaphylaxis, and other acute cardiac conditions related to mRNA vaccines.
“This is a profound revelation. For years, federal health agencies, including our own, have maintained that pediatric Covid-19 vaccination carried no confirmed mortality risks beyond theoretical concerns. We assured the public, parents, and policymakers that the benefits unequivocally outweighed any harms in healthy children,” said Vinay Prasad, Chief Medical and Scientific Officer and Director of the Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research (CBER) at the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), in a memo to staff.
The deaths happened because of failings in drug vigilance processes, and there wasn’t any data that monitored the effectiveness of Covid vaccination in young children, although health administrators knew the threat of the virus was ‘extremely low’ in the age group.
“Extrapolating from adult trials or low-risk subgroups, the ARR (absolute risk reduction) for death or severe disease in healthy kids was likely 1 in 100,000 or less per dose. If true, our policy may have induced 10 excess deaths without demonstrable lives saved,” he said.
He calls for major changes to pharma-vigilance so that confidence in vaccines among the public can be restored.
