Weleda, Vegan Body Lotions, from £12.95 (6.76 fl oz/200 mL)

www.weleda.co.uk

Natural skincare company Weleda has just relaunched all of its body lotions as a vegan range with improved formulations and more sustainable packaging. The lotions are now brimming with more organic ingredients, extra moisturizing power and optimized fragrances created from pure essential oils. Choose from Harmonising, featuring nourishing wild rose oil, Regenerating, made with antioxidant-packed pomegranate seed oil, Revitalising, formulated with fatty acid-rich sea buckthorn oil, and Refreshing, with a gorgeous lemony fragrance. There’s also Sensitive, which is completely unscented to avoid irritation, and the bestselling Skin Food, an intensive moisturizing treatment for very dry skin. All the lotions are 100 percent natural and at least 76 percent organic. For now, the vegan line is only available in the UK and Europe, but US-based shoppers can find non-vegan versions of these products along with the rest of the Weleda line at www.weleda.com.

To the bone

Living Balance, Bonebalance, £39.99 for one month’s supply/30 sachets

www.bonebalance.co.uk

If you’re worried about brittle bones, check out new supplement Bonebalance, a 100 percent natural food supplement approved for the dietary management of osteoporosis and osteopenia. It contains just one ingredient, Bioactive Collagen Peptides®, which are clinically proven to help form bone matrix—the tissue that gives bones tensile strength and flexibility. Said to start working in just six days, with no side-effects or contraindications, Bonebalance is great if you hate swallowing pills, as it’s a flavorless powder you dissolve in water, juice or hot drinks. You’ll need to take it consistently for at least six months to gain the benefits though, which could be increases in bone density of up to 5.5 percent in the spine and
7.7 percent in the hip, according to the manufacturer.
