Being bitter about life can make you unhealthy

Reading time: 1 minute

Bitterness about others, and the world in general, can make you physically ill. Lead researcher Carsten Wrosch says: “When harboured for a long time, bitterness may forecast patterns of biological dysregulation and physical disease.”
Forgiveness is the best way to break down the constant feeling of bitterness, he says (www.concordia.ca/now/what-we-do/research/20110809/can-blaming-others-make-people-sick.php).
