Bitter melon juice stops cancer’s growth

Bitter melon juice seems to interfere with the growth of pancreatic cancer, researchers have discovered after they tested it on hundreds of patients across Asia. The juice may also do the same for breast cancer.
It stops the cancer cells from metabolizing glucose, which blocks their energy source and eventually kills them, say researchers from the University of Colorado.
The researchers’ latest work is a major step forward on their discovery three years ago when they successfully killed breast cancer cells in a Petri dish with a bitter melon extract.
They are very excited by their discovery, as it seems that a natural compound can achieve what pharmaceuticals have so far failed to do.
