Walnuts and walnut oil - both rich in omega-3 - help the body cope with stress levels, a new study has discovered. They lower blood pressure and reduce LDL, or 'bad', cholesterol levels.
Researchers tested the walnut diet on a group of 22 volunteers for six weeks. Their resting blood pressure and blood pressure responses to stressful situations improved over the study period.
