Animals, including the family pet, may be worse off for vaccinations. Vaccinations have been linked to death and ailments, including those they are supposed to prevent.
An increase in allergic, immunologic and chronic disease in animals can be directly linked to the introduction of modified live vaccines.
And, to add insult to injury, the annual vaccinations that pet owners dutifully observe have no scientific basis whatsoever. One textbook states that there is "no immunologic requirement for annual revaccinations."
At a veterinary conference in America last year, Jean Dodds, a specialist in immunology and genetics, said that modified live vaccines have been linked to transient seizures in dogs whose breeds are genetically susceptible to immune disease.
A family of golden retrievers she studied suffered thyroid problems two years after they were given a modified live vaccine as puppies. But puppies given a killed version did not suffer the disorder. She also noticed that a reaction can occur 10 to 28 days following vaccination.
