When I was pregnant with my daughter in 1974, I was treated with a hormonal supplement for the first four months. I think it was Premarin. I was told it was a treatment to prevent miscarriage, but I can't find any reference to such a treatment in today's literature.

My children are now 28 and 30, and are healthy adults, but my daughter seems to have a hormonal imbalance. I wonder if this could have anything to do with the Premarin? The product now carries a warning not to be used by pregnant women. - Marie Hedges, Surrey
