It also states that 'these fats included the monounsaturated, polyunsaturated and trans unsaturated fat'", which implies that the fats mentioned are indeed processed - or not? - Gillian Sharman, Gatley

PROOF! replies: The study referred to processed food, which is rich in processed polyunsaturated fats and hydrogenated trans fats. The point is to eat an unprocessed, wholefood diet high in omega-3 (from, say, flaxseed oil) and to ensure you don't overdose on omega-6 fats.
