In "Toxic Toiletries" (vol 10 no 7, Oct 1999), which I found extremely informative and important, I was pleased to see that Sarakan toothpaste was on your recommended list. My family have been using this product for some years and have found it to be quite remarkable, particularly in improved gum health. It even appears to clear up mouth ulcers!
However, recently, we've detected a change. The colour is darker, it is much more "foamy" and the taste is weaker.
So I was appalled to read on the box of the latest supply that it now contains sodium lauryl sulphate! I am writing to Sarakan via their distributors, but you may wish to publicise this change, as the product no longer deserves your recommendation.
