Keep an open mind on all therapies

I have had very advanced cervical cancer suddenly diagnosed eight months ago

I have had very advanced cervical cancer suddenly diagnosed eight months ago. I am now free of all disease.

I had no choice but to follow a course of chemotherapy and radical radiotherapy. There is no doubt that I would have died without this treatment. However, at the same time, I pushed every possible avenue of complementary medicine that I could find most significantly, Aryuvedic medicine. I was able to cope both physically and mentally throughout my gruelling treatment and felt in control of the situation.

Diet, exercise and mind and body routine now play a vital part in my daily life.

I would urge any cancer sufferer to enter their journey towards full health with a mind open to both conventional and complementary medicines, aiming to take charge of their own recovery and working in harmony their healers. JH, Mereworth, Kent.....

Chemotherapy is also used to obtain remission
