I was probably the first British author to pioneer a nutritional approach to schizophrenia. However I am also unique in my loyalty to the anti psychotic drugs for that substantial portion of sufferers whose psychosis responds to nothing else and inevitably returns when they are withdrawn.

Your case study on Christopher (Vol 4 No 3) demonstrates my frequent, ongoing experience of individuals treated at Princeton Biocenter and the like; they appear to do well for several months and then refuse to persevere with this "miracle treatment" . Those that give up on treatment of whatever kind are in fact not becoming well enough to be freed from their delusion that they do not have a problem (albeit a chemical imbalance), and this is the core problem of successfully treating a psychotic illness.
