Which wine is worst for breast cancer?

Wine has been cited as a cause of breast cancer, but which is the worst – red or white wine?

According to a new study, both wines are equally as responsible for causing breast cancer, although earlier studies have shown that red wine can have healthy effects, especially as a preventative of heart disease and prostate cancer.

Researchers who carried out the latest study advise women to drink alcohol in moderation, and to have no more than one glass a day.  The researchers from the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center found that women who drank more than 14 glasses of alcohol a week were 24 percent more likely to develop breast cancer than non-drinkers.
