Vitamins help pre-eclampsia

Taking calcium supplements during pregnancy may reduce the risks of developing high blood pressure and pre-eclampsia during pregnancy.

According to an Argentinian study,women given calcium have significantly lower incidences of hypertension during pregnancy(nearly 10 per cent versus 15 per cent in a control group) and less chance of developing pre-eclampsia.
