Vitamin b6 debate continues
I was very interested to read the two "opposing" letters on treatment with vitamin B6, in last month's issue. However, surely that does not make two opposing stances on the matter?
So what of your first correspondent one of a small group unfortunate in their experience of vitamin B6? The fault clearly lies not in B6, but in its mistaken
prescribing. And who prescribed it and were responsible for that unfortunate course of treatment? An NHS team, of course.
The government's present proposal to limit vitamin B6 prescribing to doctors surely stands the situation on its head! Its prescribing should be left in the hands of qualified alternative medicine practitioners. S A Hardy, Perthshire......
