The fail safe apple juice flush
Just five days ago I completed the fail safe apple juice and oil flush to remove gallstones.
I have been successful in that I passed 25-40 small green "stones", and I was able to cancel my scheduled surgery. My problem is that I feel terrible. I have the familiar gall bladder ache and what I assume is also a pain in my pancreas. Valerie Stewart, Brechin.........
WDDTY replies: Dr Patrick Kingsley suggests a liver cleanse after this approach, with the preparation silymarin, for instance.
A number of nutritional companies produce very effective liver flushing preparations. Also recommended is a grape fast the day before, and a very gentle introduction of foods afterwards.
It's also a good idea to have an ultrasound scan to check that all stones were indeed flushed out. An "irritable" pancreas and gall bladder can be a reaction to a particular food, so that an exclusion diet or blood test may be helpful.
