Sheep and bse: no flies on me

As a new subscriber to the journal, I was rather disappointed with your BSE article (WDDTY, vol 9, no 8). In paragraph 5, the implication is that sheep suffer from warble fly and are therefore dipped in fact, it is cattle that suffer from warble fly. The MAFF insisted on drenching their backs, and in the process inevitably their heads, with organophosphates, possibly from 1978 to 1981. Brenda Leonard, East Sussex.......
