Since vaccination apparently raised antibody levels to the two other strains, Department of Public Health Medicine researchers in Glasgow were mystified about the low response to type 3.

"Concern about immunity to polioviruses is not news. Two previous studies in the United Kingdom have shown decreasing antibody levels in children," they wrote.
