Period problems and hypothyroid
I was interested to read the main article in the September issue "Menstrual mayhem" (WDDTY vol 8, no 6). You do not mention what is known to be a major cause of disorders of the reproductive system and of depression, which is an underactive thyroid.
The subject of the August issue leaky gut can also be due to this condition, as can hypertension, which was also covered in the same issue.
