Now don't wash your hands
Re Treatment of the Month and doctors not washing their hands (WDDTY vol 10, no 7), it reminded me of a friend who attended an extremely expensive fertility clinic in Dubai. At one point she was given a pessary, and she asked the nurse if it was not wise to first wash her hands.
Her reply was classic: "Have you any idea how much time it would take if I washed my hands before every patient?"
