Thanks for your comments on laser eye surgery (vol 4 no 10). Without it, I suppose I could have fallen for it. Note a recent advertisment which claims the procedure costs only £800, takes 15 seconds and is "painless". Should the Trade Descriptions Act be called in? Roger Franklin, Horsley, Glos....
