Foot fungus:

One reader writes in disagreeing with last week's suggestion of applying neat citricidal to the infected area of the foot. She says that neat citricidal, and only in sparing amounts, should be used just for warts. A diluted solution made from a few drops of citricidal in water will be more suitable for foot fungus. More support for tea tree oil to treat this condition. One reader recommends the following home remedy: mixing 10 drops each of tea tree oil, lavender and myrrh to 5ml of rosehip or calendula cream, then adding this to 45ml base cream. Apply twice daily.
