Don't use carcinogens for curing meat

I regret to say that I cannot believe it is acceptable to treat organic meat with a material well known for its carcinogenic property. How UK Register of Organic Foods were persuaded to go along with this proposal is beyond comprehension when I imagine they could be requested to withdraw their approval when the EU extend their regulations later this year to encompass livestock. Let us not forget Germany and Holland already have banned this carcinogenic material for use with organic foods.I Ebsworth, East Yorkshire......
