Cooked oils and seeds are not healthy foods

I would like to correct Dr Russell Blaylock, who wrote about nutritional shields against modern warfare (WDDTY vol 14 no 1). Olive oil is not for cooking.

Virgin olive oil, in particular, can be harmful when cooked at high temperature for a long time. The same applies for sunflower, peanut and every other kind of seed containing oil. Adding cold-pressed oils to salads and to foods after they are cooked is much healthier.

So let’s forget all those loaves and multiseed cakes. They aren’t a healthy food. - Anna Philippou, MD, London
