Cellulite 'cure' contradicting . . .

I was very interested to read the case study from HS, Exeter, (WDDTY, vol 9, no 1) regarding her use of Rhus Tox and Apis as a cellulite cure.

In homoeopathic reference books I have consulted, it is stated that these two remedies are inimical and should not be taken together.

Was HS aware of this, but went ahead anyway? Annie Greenlees, Oxfordshire.........

After some hesitation, I tried the cellulite cure. I was a little wary of the notion that any particular remedy will have the same effect on different individuals because this is not my understanding of how homoeopathy works.

I experienced an almost immediate and fairly profound deterioration and considerable discomfort. Then I discovered that Apis is inimical to Rhus Tox. Taken in conjunction, the effect is to confuse the "vital force". Why was this information not included in HS's letter? Helen Brownlie, Glasgow........

PS: I still have my cellulite.
