Bullying Doctors: It’s how they were taught

Ever wondered why doctors tend to bully and belittle you?  It’s because they had just the same treatment dished out to them while they were at medical school.

A study of 2,800 students from 16 medical schools in America were asked about their experiences – and 42 per cent said they had been harassed, and 84 per cent reported being belittled.  As a result, they suffered poor mental health and had low career satisfaction.  

And then, to top it all, you walk into the surgery. . .
