Additional Information
I am a qualified registered therapist in Anatomy, Physiology, Massage and Reflexology with ITEC (International Therapy Examination Council). I am a practising reflexologist and have been for 9 years, this disipline being my forte. In 2001 I passed an advanced Reflexology course with Ann Gillanders gaining a distinction, this was with the International Examining Board (IEB)
In 2005 I was approached by the Oncologist at my local hospital to treat ladies with breast cancer, this prompted me to do a course Adapting Refelxology for Hospice and Cancer Care with Doctor Peter Mackereth at Christie hospital in Manchester
Other qualificatioins include: Thermo-Auricular Therapy - 1999. Indian Head Massage - 2001 with International Institute of Health and Holistic Therapies (IIHHT). Baby/Infant Massage Instruction at Athena School of Natural Therapies in 2004. I am a full member of FHT; Embody; CThA and friend member of the AoR (Association of Reflexologists). I am also a member of The NHS Directory of Complementary and Alternative Practitioners.
I have attended numerous seminars, workshops, conferences and meetings all dealing with my work as a holistic therapist; with the AoR, Patrick Holford -(Optimum Nutrition) Professor Jane Plant - (Cancer), Tony Porter - (Reflexology), Chris Stormer - (Reflexology), Andy Fagg - (Massage for People with Cancer) and many more.
In October of this year 2008 I will be attending Food For The Brain Conference in London. My studies are on going, I am most passionate about my work as a Holistic Therapist.
