Dermatitis: Sofa imports from China causing a rash of problems

Just bought a new shiny leather sofa?  Then watch out – you could suddenly develop severe dermatitis.  Doctors in the UK have reported a sudden rash (pun intended) of sufferers who’d recently treated themselves to a leather sofa.

At last count, doctors have treated more than 130 people who suddenly developed the skin disorder.  On further investigation, it seems all the sofas came from the same manufacturer in China.

Dermatologists fear the sofas may contain an allergen that they’ve never seen before.
