Bloated questions to ask the gp

I would like to have questions prepared when I consult my doctor about abdominal bloating. I am 64, don't drink or smoke and have had H pylori successfully treated. However, I'd now like to find out why I have abdominal bloating. You mentioned a simple test in your article (WDDTY, vol 9, no 5) could you tell me what this involves? Michael Williams, Nottingham............WDDTY replies: Abdominal bloating could mean an allergy, low stomach acid, parasites or candida, all four or other problems. Consult WDDTY vol 4 no 1 for a list of the tests to take.
