She wanted to know what alternative treatments there were for her condition besides drugs such as Tapizole? Whichever therapy you choose, the important thing is to not delay treatment, warns one reader. These disorders open the patient up to a "thyrotoxic storm" with serious consequences, she says. To help combat bone atrophy, a reader suggests doing some weight-bearing exercises to strengthen the bones.
