Gulf war guinea pigs

I was interested in your article "Gulf War Guinea Pigs" in this month's issue of WDDTY (vol 8 no 12).

I have just read the book Psychic Warrior by David Morehouse, and in one chapter he describes how he travelled to the Gulf and saw canisters, presumably containing toxic chemicals, had been placed behind each burning oil well. The smell of the burning oil would then mask any smell of chemicals. So it looks as if maybe the vaccinations were not the only poisonous substance the troops came into contact with during the war.
