Cod liver oil helps Measles

* Medicine has known about the benefits of vitamin A treating measles for at least 64 years. The Townsend Letter for Doctors has uncovered research from 1932 which showed how high doses of cod liver oil helped save the lives of children suffering from acute measles infection (Townsend Lett Docs, January 1996; BMJ 1932; 2: 708-11).
