Go for the jug to get rid of chlorine

I refer to the letters page (WDDTY vol 10 no 6) linking chlorine in our water supply to heart disease. A very simple way of removing chlorine is to leave tap water in a jug for 45 minutes. This enables the gaseous substance to escape, improving taste, reducing risk of heart disease and saving money.Karuna Tharmananthar (email karunat@aol.com)
