Who's findings

The World Health Organization has just released a new document on environmental mercury. In it, some of the world's authorities on mercury poisoning concluded, after reviewing the scientific literature, that the public's highest daily exposure to mercury comes from dental amalgam fillings. They determined that human daily retained intake is the following:

Dental fillings: 3.0-17.0 mcg/day

Fish and seafood: 2.3 mcg/day.

Other food: 0.3 mcg/day

Air and water: negligible
