What remedies can tackle type II diabetes? One reader was aware of an Indian homoeopathic remedy, but couldn't recall the name. One homoeopath suggests Syzigium Mother Tincture or Gymnema sylvestre (Shardunikha). The latter is a powder from Indian, which, our reader tells us, tastes terrible, and so needs to be put into capsules. Another reader tells us that diabetes is controlled in India with equal amounts of turmeric powder and amalaki powder (3gms each twice a day in water). Also try bitter gourd (karavellaka) as part of your diet.
