Satellite dishes:

Finally a few more suggestions for the woman in Bermuda whose daughter attends a school that's close to a satellite dish. She is worried about any health implications. She felt short-changed by the one response last time ("Move"!) and by the way we represented her query, although we can't see too much wrong with it. Anyway, a few more readers have added their comments now. One suggests contacting a UK organization called The Healthy House, which sells a range of devices and coverings to eliminate electro-magnetic radiation in the home. Another reader feels there may be nothing to worry about. A satellite dish receives and amplifies weak signals from a satellite, and does not emit harmful radiation. They shouldn't be confused with mobile phone masts. If you want to be sure, contact a company called Tachyon Technologies, whose products may reduce EMFs.
