I have been suffering from ME for more than 10 years and for the last four I have benefited enormously from taking vitamin, mineral and essential fatty acid supplements. I have been taking a daily dose of 50 mg of B6, and it has done me no harm at all, and has caused none of the symptoms of B6 toxicity.

I have to buy all my supplements myself. My GP does not accept that my disease is physical and would never prescribe me the higher strength supplements I need, nor would I want NHS supplements, as they contain colourings, preservatives and other allergens such as wheat, lactose and sugar.
