Is vitamin b6 bad for patients with a heart condition?

Re Parkinson’s disease (WDDTY vol 14 no 5), I am puzzled by a statement about vitamin B6 which suggested that patients with heart conditions should not take it. This is the first I have heard of an adverse effect on heart conditions by B6. In fact, recent literature suggests that it can help prevent coronary heart disease by reducing homocysteine. It can also help reduce blood pressure and prevent diabetes, two conditions that can be contributory factors in heart disease. - Martin Hum, Registered Nutritional Therapist, London N14
