Hearing loss from vaccination

I am very surprised that in 'Hearing Loss' (WDDTY, vol 8, no 7), there is not a single sentence about vaccination as a cause for lost or impaired hearing. Perhaps, in another article, you may want to concentrate on vaccinations and hearing defects.

I would like to do some research in that area. My younger daughter has had impaired hearing since a very early age. I remember the time when she was two years old or just before her second birthday, and she used to cry every morning - a high-pitched cry. That was back in 1974. 1 would like to hear from other parents of children born in 1972-3 with hearing problems.- Dr Anna Phillippou, London.
